Force Sports Center Director of Facilities
Chelsea is entering her fourth year as Facility Director at Force Sports Center. A three-time Lone Star Conference first-team selection, Chelsea helped lead the Angelo State volleyball team to the NCAA Division II South Central Championships two seasons in a row and to the 2012 LSC championship. The Belles amassed a 98-38 overall record during her time in uniform.
“Volleyball has really been a big passion in my life and I get very excited about the opportunity to share what I’ve learned about the game,” Chelsea said. “It really is a game that has taught me a lot about life and being committed to goals.
Chelsea ranks eighth all-time in ASU volleyball program history with 1,097 kills and seventh in blocks with 310. She led the Belles in kills with 310 as a sophomore in 2010 and also topped the block assists category in the 2010 and 2011 seasons. She finished her playing career with 225 digs, 285 blocks assists and a .274 hitting percentage.
A Spring Branch native who played high school volleyball at Smithson Valley, she was also a LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll member and president of the Sociology Club as an undergraduate at ASU.
Chelsea graduated in May 2015 with a Master of Education in Coaching, Sport, Recreation and Fitness Administration at Angelo State after earning her bachelor’s degrees in sociology and psychology from Angelo State in 2013.
