17 National Assistant Coach
Joella Gallegos has a been a high school head volleyball coach for 14 season at the 6A, 5A and currently at the 3A classfication level. Prior to her coaching career she played volleyball for St. Mary’s University and continued as a graduate assistant for 3 more season. With 15+ years of club coaching experience she has been a coach at 11s, 12s, 14s, 15s, 16s, and 18s with both National and Local teams. This past year she served on the board of the Texas Girls Coaches Association as the Committee Chair for the all-star games. She currently works at Jourdanton High School as the head volleyball coach and P.E. teacher. She has a masters degree in Educational Leadership and a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Joella is married to Sam Gallegos who is also a (football/baseball) coach and has 4 children who are all actively involved in sports. She is very excited to be a part of FORCE this season!
