Head Coaching:



Coach Wilson (aka Coach W or “Dub”) has coached teams that had appearances in several National Championship tournaments, including 2 Championship matches, 4 Final Fours, and 2 Elite Eights of National Junior tournaments, all in the Open division. In 2003, Coach Wilson’s team won the Gold Medal at the 15 Open National Junior Olympics Championships, Texas’ 1st Open title, and in 2009, his 17’s was Finalists at the AAU National (Open) Championships. In addition, his teams have played in five open division Lone Star Qualifier Championships (won 4), two open division Mid-East Qualifier Championships (won 1), and seven Tour of Texas Championships (won 6). Before joining the Force family in 2013, Coach Wilson (for 7 years) was a volleyball club director over 15s-18s age groups and their coaches, focusing on recruitment, training and policies/procedures. While as head coach at Providence High School for 15 years, he led the PROVETS to 5 State Championship wins, 8 State Championship match appearances, 11 State Final Four appearances and 9 District titles in volleyball, and he received State Coach of the year 3 times. Coach Dub has played on several USAV Volleyball teams, men’s and coed, with a 2nd place and 4th place Nationals finish, where he made 1st Team All-American. In 2011, he was inducted into Nolan Catholic High School “Hall of Fame”, where he was a point guard for their State Championship basketball team. Coach Dub has a Bachelors and a Masters of Science from St. Mary’s University. He is an IT Principal Technical Architect at USAA, occasionally performs in local community theatre, and an avid Spurs fan.
