12 Black Head Coach
Kylie Woods is a former Trinity University volleyball recruit. She has had a passion for the game since the early age of 8 years old when she began spending weekends with family and friends at the sand courts in her childhood apartment complex, in the small town of Alamogordo, New Mexico. Upon her arrival at Trinity in the fall of 2013, she began to realize that there is much more to a comeback than the physical talent. Her mental game suffered as she struggled to get the details of her play, like arm speed, back after a devastating injury. Unfortunately, she never quite recovered fully and was unable to play out her college career. However, this lesson and passion has translated into a love for coaching and helping other athletes, of all sports, to be successful and confident even in the face of adversity. She has participated in private lesson coaching for the past 2 years with several young women. She aspires to be a business owner in which she can help young athletes develop themselves as players, and as great people. Kylie believes there was no better place to continue this journey than with SA Force!
