Felicia Laryea

Coach Felicia began playing volleyball in middle school, but didn’t truly start competing until high school. Felicia’s enthusiasm for her school and volleyball earned her the Ranger Heart Award her senior year, in addition to being named Academic All District team at Rudder High School in Bryan, TX. After an injury that prevented her from playing her junior year, she discovered her love for coaching and managing. From 2018-2020 Felicia served as a manager for the Roadrunner volleyball team. She stepped away from her role as UTSA’s volleyball manager in 2021 to coach her first season at St. John Paul II Catholic High School as the Head JV Coach! During the 2021 season the Guardians won the TAPPS 4A State Championship! Felicia reprised her role for the 2022 season where the Guardians went all the way to Regionals! Felicia has served as an assistant coach for Brazos Valley Juniors, coached Summer League teams, camps, and also directed the Bryan Volleyball Academy clinic. During her time at Force Felicia has assistant coached 11 Darkside, 11 Select, 14 Select, and 14 Black. Last season Felicia was given the opportunity of head coaching 12 Select. Felicia is excited to head coach 14 Select for her 5th season at SA Force!
