Katie Love

Coach Katie Love is a San Antonio native. Her love of volleyball began when she
started playing in the fourth grade. She was a 3yr letterman at Taft High School and
also played club for Alamo at the national level for three years winning several bids to
JO’s. After injuries her sophomore and senior year, she choose to continue to play in
women’s leagues while in college. Naturally, her passion for the game has guided her
to want to coach. She began coaching at the club level during the 2012/2013 season
developing the 12 and under players in skill, confidence, life lessons, and motivation as
well as building lifelong friendships. Coach Katie keeps in touch with former club, high
school and league coaches and teammates displaying that the bond of a team can go
a long way!
She currently works for SWBC Mortgage and has a Bachelor degree in Criminal
Justice from UTSA.

Play Experience: Taft High School – 3yr letterman, Club – Alamo Volleyball – National
Team – 3yrs, Women’s leagues while attending college @ NWV & UTSA

Years coaching: Began 2012/2013 season, coaching national teams, directing skills
clinics and tournaments.

Years with SA Force: Coach Katie began coaching with Force during the 2016/2017
