Kira Baade

Kira has been around volleyball her entire life and started playing both school and club volleyball at the age of 12. Her love for the game quickly grew as she competed throughout middle school and high school, gaining valuable experience in both team leadership and competitive play.

Kira went on to play at Tiffin University from 2018–2022 at the NCAA Division II level, where she continued to develop her skills, work ethic, and knowledge of the game. While at Tiffin, she also began her coaching journey with Old Fort Volleyball Club (2020–2022), where she discovered her passion for guiding younger athletes.

After graduating, Kira returned to Michigan and continued her coaching career with Crank It Volleyball Club from 2023–2025. During this time, she not only coached athletes on the court but also served as a mental health coach and mentor for players ages 13-18, helping them build confidence, resilience, and balance in athletics and life.

In August 2025, Kira relocated to San Antonio with her 2-year-old son. She is excited to bring her experience as both a player and a coach to the community, with the goal of helping athletes grow their skills, strengthen their mindset, and reach their full potential while fostering a love for the game.
